Galati Steel Plant, the only integrated steel producer in Romania - an asset of strategic importance being offered for sale under court-approved restructuring plans for Liberty Galati S.A. and Liberty Tubular Products Galati S.A., managed by the Euro Insol – CITR consortium as composition administrators.

Located on a 1,600-hectare industrial platform in Galați with direct access to Danube River and Black Sea port infrastructure, the plant serves as Eastern Europe's primary steel production hub.

It supplies critical sectors including construction, infrastructure, automotive, shipbuilding, energy, and defense through a fully integrated production chain comprising the following key facilities, with an annual capacity of up to 3 million tons of steel:

• Sinter Plant, Blast Furnaces, Steel Melt Shop
• Heavy Plate Mills
• Hot and Cold Rolling Mills (with galvanizing and painting lines)
• Coke Chemical Plant, Slag Disposal Area, Land & Buildings
• Pipe Manufacturing Facility
